k. Do you scan e-mail for viruses?
Yes, our hosting company has invested in sophisticated, advanced virus scanning technology for our mail server that will quarantine virus infected mail and does not affect legitimate mail. Notifications are sent to both the sender and recipient to alert them that an infected email was quarantined.
The following attachment types are automatically banned from the mail server as they are known to carry viruses: .exe, .bat, .lnk, .pif, .scr, .com, and .vbs. Please advise senders to archive any of the above file types in a zipped or stuffed format in order for you to receive them.
We strongly recommend that you run an anti-virus program on your computer for full protection. We cannot be held responsible if a virus transmitted via e-mail gets past our checkers and infects your computer.
